An interactive composition
Music that
moves with you.
Change the movement. Hear the arrangement respond.
A college-era music engine, reimagined as an instrument you can explore.

02 / MUSICComposition, code, and creative tooling.
A direct line from my college-era interactive music experiments to my work in adaptive audio.
This is the recovered composition, not a prerecorded mix. Four layers select from 21 original audio assets at 100 BPM. Movement history informs the selection rules; a new input does not cut the current phrase immediately. Some movement patterns intentionally leave a layer silent.
The composition and its musical rules come from my college-era project. The browser interface is a new presentation of that work. The simulator supplies movement values; it does not read your device’s sensors.
- Playback
- The composition ends naturally. Stop and Play starts again from the beginning.
- Waveforms
- Drawn from the decoded audio of each layer’s current variation, not decorative graphics.
- Controls
- Manual fixes the movement value. The other modes change it by the chosen step at the chosen interval.
